Open Forum: The Open Forum is a portion of the Council meeting where a maximum of three persons will
be allowed to address the Council on a subject which is not a part of the meeting agenda. Persons wishing
to speak must register in person with Dave Maschoff, Council Secretary, prior to the meeting. Unscheduled
guests are limited to two minutes each. The Council may not take action or reply at the time of the
statement but will give direction to staff at the end of the meeting regarding investigation of the concerns
expressed.
A. SCHEDULED GUESTS:
I. Troy Menke: Outside Dance Permit for Pillars Pub from 9pm-1am on June 26th
II. Jim Hatten: Bird Control Matter
III. Ron Sinn: Parking Matter
IV. Chuck Dunker: Property Matter
V. Bridget Kolander: Street Closure requests for Franks-A-Lot on June 18 th, Town and Country Day
Event on June 22nd and Temporary Liquor License for June 18th and for Rhythm of the River July 10th
and 11th.
B. UNSCHEDULED GUESTS:

Consent Agenda: All items listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the City
Council and will be enacted by one motion and an affirmative vote of a majority of the members present.
There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council member so requests, in which event the
item(s) will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately by the Council under 8
below. These Consent Agenda items will also include motions approved by committees, commissions and
boards of the City Council.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve the hire of Brynn Muir as an EMT for the Ambulance
Department at an hourly rate of $17.00, contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
D. Bridgets Buck Snorts Requests
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: (1) Approve requests from Bridget Kolander-Gilbert for street closure
in front of Bridgets Buck Snorts on June 18th for Franks-A-Lot from 8 to 10 P.M. and June 22nd from 6 to
8:30 P.M. for a Creative Spirits event. (2) Approve temporary liquor permit for Bridgets Buck
Snorts/Rhythm of the River for Rhythm of the River event on Friday, July 10th from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. and
Saturday, July 11th from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. (3) Approve temporary liquor permit for Bridgets Buck Snorts
for beer garden in front of Optimal Health and Chiropractic at 405 Second Street from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for
Franks-A-Lot on June 18th.
E. Live Music
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: (1) Allow live music in front of Optimal Health and Chiropractic at 405
Second Street and at Heser Auto and Detailing at their business during Franks-A-Lot event June 18 th both
concluding by 9 p.m.
