O Love Divine Deborah Govenor (1964- )
text: adapted from Charles Wesley (1707-1788)
This is my God,
O Love divine, what have you done The incarnate God hath died for me!
The Father's coeternal Son bore all my sins upon the tree.
The Son of God for me has died: My Lord, my Love, is crucified!
and I will praise Him.
Is crucified for me and you, to bring us sinners near to God;
Believe, believe the record true, we all are bought with Jesus' blood;
Pardon for all flows from his side: my Lord, my Love, is crucified.
Exodus 15:2
Behold him now, all that pass by, the bleeding Prince of life and peace,
Come, sinners, see your Savior die, and say, "Was ever grief like his?"
Come, feel with me his blood applied: my Lord, my Love, is crucified!
Clap Your Hands (from Psalm 47) Nancy Roberts (1931-2009)

to our God, He is our King!

University Baptist Church has been a prominent landmark
since 1929 at the intersection of West Main Street and
Jefferson Park Avenue in Charlottesville, Virginia. Located
on "The Corner" of the University of Virginia, our primary
task is to bring together students, faculty, staff, and
Be
residents of the Charlottesville-Albemarle area into a vital
Joyful
community of faith in Christ.
Being a "town and gown" congregation, we are diverse in
background and vocation. While our membership has
Baptist roots, many bring Lutheran, Presbyterian,
In the
Episcopalian, and Catholic experiences to enrich our life
and work.
We are denominationally affiliated with the Albemarle
Baptist Association, Baptist General Association of
Virginia, and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Lord
The congregation and staff of University Baptist Church
would like to thank you for allowing Jubilate to share their
ministry of music with you.
