Fully Automatic Horizontal Band Sawing Machine

SPM Horizontal Bandsaw Machine, Model : FCAF-245 is a


fully automatic machine, swing type in construction. The
machine base, frame and stock table are of heavy weld steel
and is torsion and vibration free.

Cutting Length Setter

Cutting speed is infinitely variable, so that, steel as well as non


ferrous material can be cut. Blade speeds are available from
24 to 100 m/min., which enables use of Bimetal Bandsaw
Blades. As such high speed cutting gives faster cutting 4 to 5
times more than that with the conventional machine.
Workpiece length accuracy of + 0.25 mm, Taper 0.1 mm for
100 mm , can be achieved, hence minimum material
wastage.

The machine is fully protected to give maximum safety and


prevent accident.
The machine is provided with a centralized control panel placed
within operator's reach. A calibrated band speed selector is
placed within convenient reach of the operator. The machine is
fully automatic. Once the desired quantity is set on counter and
machine is started, the machine stops automatically after
completion of preset quantity.
The saw is precisely guided by means of a roller guide system
and in addition, by solid carbide inserts.

Handwheel is provided to set cutting length upto 600 mm


which can be easily read on a digital counter in increment of
0.1mm.
The multiple stroke counter makes it possible to multiply the
number of index cycles when pieces longer than 600 mm are
required.

The hydraulically operated rear vice mounted on a slide,


moves bar stock forward as per the preset length.
The forward and backward movement of the vice is automatic.

Nesting Fixture is provided for cutting small size bars by


stacking/bundling with an additional top clamping.
This further increases productivity, ease of operation and
reduction in material handling.

Chip Conveyor :
4" open screw coil conveyor with through perforation at the
charge bottom with 0.25 HP Geared Motor Drive Unit having
15 inclination for efficient conveying of scrap to the container.

Infinitely variable band speeds :

Infinitely variable speed drive unit (PIV Unit) used for


changing cutting speed of Bandsaw blade from
24-100m/min, for different types of material to be cut.
Cutting speed can be easily change during the drive motor
running.

Auto "Shut-off" counter is provided. 'Feed force


control dial' is provided for adjusting down feed.

The Bandsaw has a Centralized Control Panel,


conveniently positioned on the top of Saw head
for easy operation.
