Circular RCC Water Tank Design Guide

1) The document describes the design and analysis of a circular overhead water tank with a radius of 5m and height of 2m using structural analysis software. 2) The model of the tank is created by generating the geometry including the side walls, bottom, and supporting columns. Member properties are assigned including thicknesses. 3) Loads equivalent to self-weight and a hydrostatic pressure of 20kN/m^2 on the side walls are applied. 4) The model is analyzed for deflections, bending moments, shear forces, and axial forces. Design of slabs, beams, and columns is also performed based on the loading.
