M50PSC Concrete Mix Design Summary

This document summarizes four concrete mix design trials for a six-laning highway project in Andhra Pradesh. Trial IV best met specification requirements. It used 500 kg/m3 of cement, a water-cement ratio of 0.35, 500 kg/m3 of coarse aggregate, 620 kg/m3 of sand, and 1.2% admixture. It achieved the target compressive strengths of 35.02 MPa at 3 days, 50.37 MPa at 7 days, and 66.12 MPa at 28 days. The trial IV mix was determined to be the most cohesive.
