The EduMax system is our most popular interactive classroom solution. The system can easily convert existing data
projectors and virtually any smooth, white surface or whiteboard into a fully interactive digital classroom. This allows the
teacher full control of their computer and teaching software from the board, using the digital e-pen for navigating, writing
and annotating.
The EduMax system is a solid hardware foundation on which to build an engaging e-learning environment, and any of our
professional teaching software suits and hardware accessories can be included.

The EduMax system consists of a laptop / computer (not

included), data projector, interactive device*, e-pen and
whiteboard or projection surface. The interactive device
and data projector can be ceiling mounted or free-standing
on a desk or table.
Once set up, your devices screen is projected onto the
whiteboard, and you have full control of your teaching
software and other applications using the E-Pen (which
communicates with the computer through the interactive
devices intuitive signal receiver). A high quality speaker
bar can also be installed for enhanced audio.

INTERACTIVE DEVICE
Used in conjunction with a data projector, the Interactive Device brings a new level of flow and immersion to the
classroom by converting your existing whiteboard or any flat, white surface into a fully interactive digital display. This is
achieved with Optical Position Detection Technology, which enables the device to detect infrared signals being sent
from the E-Pen. You can now deliver lively and engaging interactive lessons with the ability to draw, highlight and

VERSATILE, DUAL PURPOSE WHITEBOARDS

The standard whiteboard sizes illustrated below are available in either gloss or dual-purpose matte whiteboard material,
finished with a deluxe aluminium frame. Matte material, while being great for dry-marker use, is also the preferred material
for data projection - providing a crisp, low reflective image. To get the most out of your interactive whiteboard system,
ensure that the boards dimensions are compatible with your projectors native resolution.
Each of our three data projector solutions operate at diffferent native resolutions. These resolutions and their
corresponding board compatibility / aspect ratios are outlined below:

ROLL OUT - WRITE ON - WIPE OFF - PROJECT

Replacing old chalkboards with new whiteboards can be extremely expensive, and EduBoard has an excellent solution
with Write-On board resurfacing material. As long as the old board surface is still in good condition, Write-On material,
which is available in 50m rolls of gloss and matte white, can easily be installed onto existing boards. The material can also
be applied directly to any flat surface, without the need for any additional framing or mounting.
The end result is a high quality cost effective gloss or matte whiteboard. The Matte whiteboard material is dual purpose,
perfect for data projection and dry marker pen use. Thousands of classrooms in South Africa are already effectively using
Write-On on their old chalkboards.
