Reliance damages: (Backwards looking) puts the injured
party back to the position they were BEFORE contract was
entered into. Damages are assessed taking into
consideration from breach to contract.
Expectation damage: (Forward looking) puts injured party
to the position they were had the contract was performed
and the damages put them in the position they would have
been
Restitution damage: (Backward looking)
The benefits from transaction are returned to the party.
