Stems (Week One-quiz: Week of January 2nd)


1. spec = look
2. pend = hang
3. omni = all
4. re = again
5. ex = out
Vocabulary Words & Definitions (Week Two-quiz: Week of January 12th)
1. Spectacle an unusual or impressive display (as a big parade)
2. Spectator a person who looks on (as at a sports event)
3. Dependent relying on someone else for support OR a person that
relies on another for support
4. Pending 1) not yet decided 2) while waiting for
5. Omnivore One that takes in everything available, as with the mind
6. Omnipresent Present everywhere simultaneously
7. Revise to look over again to correct or improve
8. Reunion the act of reuniting, the state of being reunited

Spelling (Week Three-quiz: Week of January 19th)
Students will be expected to spell each of the above vocabulary words.
