this country which used for greeting. I will pronounce it first and then you may repeat it after me
Assalamu alaikum. Assalamu alaikum We will now proceed to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque .
Assalamu alaikum.
TG: Talking about Abu Dhabi, now it is one of the tourist attraction that attract most of the tourist
with modern city and fascinating building that will all cover most of the entertainment you want in
such a ideal city. As you know that UAE is one of the richest country in the world. Can you guys
guess why? We have some reward to you if you answer correctly.
TG: Ohhh!you guys are so smart/
In the past, Abu Dhabi was occupied by a group of settlement called bani Yas Bedoiun tribe. At first,
they lived near the coast. But after discovery of fresh water, they move toward the island where it
has more abundant resource. Later, Abu Dhabi entirely developed trading in which later they
started to trade with Great Britain in 1892. While the wealth inside Abu Dhabi started to grow.
TG: However, it is abruptly stopped with Japan intervention. It is also affected by the global
recession in 1930s. Nevertheless, the luck favors Abu Dhabi. In 1939, Sheikh Shakhbut bin Sultan Al
Nahyan who is the father of UAE received a permission to search for oil reserve. For about twenty
years later in 1958, large amount of oil is discovered offshore and later found on the shore. This is
the turning point for Abu Dhabi which is the initiating of incredible wealth. beginning of Zhayed era
TG:In 1966, he became the leader of Abu Dhabi. Two years later he formed the federation of the
United Arab Emirates which was created to basically get rid of British which they actually became
independent. Although most of population disliked British, he realised that he should maintain the
relationship with UK in order to be in the secure position of oil industry.
TG: After they became independent, he also worked very hard. His vision would mostly focus on
how oil can heighten the wealth of UAE and livelihood of the citizen by finding which will benefit
UAE them most. This makes UAE become more modernize and being top ten in the richest country
and made him recognize as the father or the Nation. Political system is federation of monarch that
his son become the next king who serves the nation.

*Last meal script (@Al Iwan Burj al Arab):* Dubai*
TG:. Al Iwan Burj al Arab is notable by being in the worlds tallest atrium and surrounding by the
sea. Owner of this restaurant believes that dining is far more than food so he highly selects every
element to make sure that all of us will receive phenomenal experience of being in Royal traditional
Emirate palace. Not only scenario that is highlighted, but food itself is also spectacular., They serve
Arabic food in form of buffet that every single dish has no words to describe but fascinating.
TG: Traditional Emirati cuisine is the mix between Arabic and Asian. However, due to the climate
condition that is mostly covered by desert makes its agricultural resource as much as in Asian. Most
of dishes will compose of a lot of meat, grain and dairy. Fortunately, in some areas, vegetable are
easy to grow which makes them become main ingredient in some dish.
TG: One of the traditional dish that you should not miss from this buffet is Al Harees. It usually
serves during Ramadan, or in important events or festival like wedding. This is made by boiling
wheat and meat for and hours till it gets smooth texture that would probably melt in your mouth.
You can enhance the flavor by adding this on top of ghee which will make the flavor more mellow.
TG:
Shrimp majboos - Traditional Arabian rice dish containing fish and meats, it is known to be a
bahraini dish* that is popular in the gulf countries, which ours contains Shrimp that were caught an
hour ago in Norway and sent straight to the restaurant through a private food freezing jet.
TG: Fish sharmola(Other names: charmoula, sharmola, charmola) - A spicy Moroccan sauce made with
cumin garlic fresh herbs paprika cayenne and olive oil. Chermoula is traditionally served with meats. The
mixture is sometimes thickened with yogurt cheese (well-drained yogurt). Although our restaurant was
inspired by Disneys movie, Ariel!!!, so we chose Fishes from Souks in our own 1st class market!!!
Also might serve Sebastian later at the end of the course...
