REFLECTION
Taking this music class introduction to music has been a wonderful experience for me to
study and learn history of music from the middle age era, renaissance, classical era, romantic era,
Impression era as well as the 20th century period. It is amazing to see how the history of different
types of music comes about until now. The composers and their history has developed,
composed music as well as inventions of different instruments to make music much better and
better.
I was not a music talented person but I was willing to study this course. I have learned a lot
from the Professor, not only her teaching skills but her experiences in teaching as well as her
knowledge of the music. She is a professional teacher and she has the working experiences as
well her knowledge and understanding of her own are put into the student to learn music better.
She has the patience and ability to help and assist students of what they need and teach more
about this subject.
I had learned from two music concerts that I have attended and did reports on those visits.
It was an experience for me to be there in person and watched and learn and then report in a
essay format. I hardly went to a musical concert in my life but this visit experiences help to look
and attend music concerts because it is fun. The people who were attending these concerts
seemed like they really enjoy it. I would like to go to a musical concert of what I like in the
future and take my wife, children and grandchildren so we can fun together.
Now, I have a very good attitude about music and when I hear music now, I understand
the music and it important to our lives. I am looking forward to take another course from this
professor because she teaches subject very good and get along with student very well. She has
done an outstanding job. I loved it. Thank You.
