RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.
A place where students can share their documents for their peers, parents and the world. Students can
show their work and show what they know and what they are currently learning. They can use visual
representations such as photos, videos, drawings and of course PDFs and documentations of their
writing. They are able to see their classmates as well as see their progress throughout the school year
Teachers are also able to leave comments and notes. This portfolio is accessible by computer as well as
an iOS application.
INTEGRATION IDEA - COLLABORATION
How might you integrate this resource in a lesson plan to promote collaboration among students in your
classroom, or among students and others outside of the classroom?
I think this would be a great resource for students to plan for a big project. They can assemble all of the
steps it takes to get to their final. Beginning with brainstorms, research, drafts and then a final. Also an
older student could use this application/site to showcase all of their papers for one school year. They
could also reflect on how they improve as writers.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Based on the value-added rating scale above, how would you rate the technology integration
you described, using the selected resource?
Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.
For middle school students it is standard for them to showcase their work using technology. I rate this
site and application a 3 because the students are able to follow this standard. This also is an engaging
application and site for students because they get artistic freedom to create the portfolio the way theyd
like to.
