Authority to Prosecute Homicide Case

This document authorizes a private prosecutor, Atty. Cyril C. Oropesa, to prosecute a homicide case on behalf of the People of the Philippines against PO1 Nelson D. Dino before the Regional Trial Court in Sorsogon. The city prosecutor delegates her authority to prosecute the case to the private prosecutor until the end of trial, unless authority is revoked by the Regional State Prosecutor with court approval. TO PRIVATE PROSECUTOR
[Under Section 5, Rule 110, Revised Rules on Criminal Procedure]

The undersigned City Prosecutor hereby authorizes ATTY. CYRIL C.


OROPESA, a bona fide member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines,
to prosecute the above-entitled case pending before the Regional Trial
Court- Sorsogon Branch 52, who shall continue to prosecute the said case
until the end of the trial even in the absence of the public prosecutor,
unless this authority is withdrawn or otherwise revoked by the Regional
State Prosecutor, with the approval by the Court.

In case of severance of the lawyer-client relationship between the


private prosecutor and the private complainant, the former shall notify the
undersigned of such fact and turn over all evidences in his custody at least
five [5] days prior to the earliest scheduled setting of the case.
