c. The Grand Canyon is part of the National Parks in Arizona. At the
park there are many activities that you can participate in.
Becoming a Junior Ranger and river trips are just some of these
opportunities. On their site there is also an in depth Video Series
that shows the natural and human history of the Grand Canyon if
you are unable to make it for a visit.

c. I picked the National Mall in general because there is so much
that you can do here. The National Mall is a park and is
sometimes called Americas Front Yard. Here is where you can
find many Memorials and monuments such as the Lincoln
Memorial, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Washington
Monument, Constitution Gardens and the Martin Luther King, Jr.
Memorial. If possible it worth it to take a trip to the National Mall
because there are so many historic sites that one can see when
they think of taking a trip to Washington D.C.

c. The Florissant Fossil Beds is a National Park that is located in Colorado. The
national park has thousands of detailed fossils of a variety of plants and
insects. The park also has a museum that offers interactive exhibits as well as
videos about the park.

c. Yellowstone National park was our first national park. On the parks website
they have 10 webcams where you can view the Mammoth Hot Springs,
Mount Washburn, Old Faithful and more. This would be a great classroom
field trip for students.

presidents students can discover why these 4 presidents made a big enough

think of as a field trip it is a fun way for students to learn about
the history of our exploration of the final frontier. The center
has many attractions and experiences that what they say

displays and even past ones that are no longer there. You move
around by clicking there arrows on the screen. The one that I did
was on Western Cultures. Students can explore the life of cave
men right from their computers.

can go to the White House and explore exhibits from your
classroom. This site provides Virtual Tours of the Eisenhower

Students can tour by selecting a category and clicking through
the pictures while learning about the items. You can also by an

compression but it is not needed.

through their computers. They see the inside and outside of
these houses and get the feeling that they are really there.
