Ashok Leyland has received an order for 644 buses from BEST in Mumbai. This is the largest single order for fully built buses in India. The buses will be low-floor models to improve accessibility. They will also have features for passenger comfort and safety. Delivery of the buses will take place between December 2005 and March 2006.
