Meaning
An individual who acts as the counterparty in a swap agreement for a fee called a spread.
Swapdealers are the market makers for the swap market. The spread represents the difference
between the wholesale price for trades and the retail price. Because swap arrangements aren't
actively traded, swap dealers allow brokers to standardize swap contracts to some extent.
A registered clearinghouse, clearing association, clearing corporation, or similar entity, facility, system, or organization that
provides clearing services or arrangements.
a board of trade, including any organized exchange or other trading facility, that has registered and been designated as a
DCM.
An individual, association, partnership, corporation, or trust that is engaged in soliciting or in accepting orders for the

A trading system or platform in which multiple participants have the ability to execute or trade swaps by accepting bids and
offers made by multiple participants, but that is not a registered DCM.
