ASL UPDATE
Live test materials (Question papers with answer keys) for Assessment of Speaking and
Listening Skills (ASL) for SA II (2015-16) Examination for classes IX, X and XI
The Live Test Material for SA II (2015-16) for Assessment and Speaking Skills is available on the CBSE
Academic Website www.cbseacademic.in at the link CBSE ASL live test material 2015-16.The ASL for
th th
classes IX, X and XI may be conducted during a window period of 15 December 2015 to 30 January 2016.
All schools affiliated to CBSE are requested to download the material available on the website and conduct the
assessment as per guidelines mentioned in Examiners Handbook. The organizations that are mentioned in the
Annexure I will be responsible for sending the Live Test Material for ASL to the schools under their
jurisdiction.
The Examiners handbook is also available at Gateway to ASL- on the homepage of CBSE Academic Website
www.cbseacademic.in.
A step by step guideline to download material is also attached at Annexure - II.

STEPS FOR ASL
Step 1:Click on the link. Following window will appear. Enter Username, Password and Captcha code as
shown in box. Click on REFRESH button to change the code given in box.
Step 2: Enter the details click on SUBMIT Button.
Step 3: After Submitting the details following window will appear which shows School Details and
ENTER DATE OF TEST button. Click on ENTER DATE OF TEST to enter test date.
Step 4: From Drop Down select date of test and click SUBMIT.
Step 5: After Submitting Date of Test. Click on PROCEED to continue further.
Step 6: After clicking on PROCEED following window will appear which shows various buttons.
Step 7:Click on Class IX button to download class IX data. On clicking Class IX button two buttons
Listening and Speaking will appear. Click on Speaking button to download Class IX Speaking
Material and click on Listening button to download Class IX Listening Material. Downloading will start
automatically once the button is clicked.
Step 8:Click on Class X button to download class X data. On clicking Class X button two buttons
Listening and Speaking will appear.Click on Listening button to download Class X data. On clicking
Listening button two buttons Set 1 and Set 2 will appear. Click on Set 1 button to download
Class X Listening Set 1 Material and click on Set 2 button to download Class X Listening Set 2
Material.Downloading will start automatically once the button is clicked.Click on Speaking button to
download Class X Speaking Material.
Step 9:Click on Class XI button to download classXI data. On clicking Class XI button two buttons
Listening and Speaking will appear. Click on Speaking button to download Class XI Speaking
Material and click on Listening button to download Class XI Listening Material.Downloading will start
automatically once the button is clicked.
Step 10: To Logout Click on Logout button on top right of screen.
Steps to Change Password
Step 1:Click on Forget Password. An email with link to change password will be sent to you registered
email id.
Step 2:Open the link and enter the affiliation number and registered email id of School and Click
SUBMIT.
Step 3: Now enter the new password and click SUBMIT. Once is password is changed successfully
message will appear on your screen.
