Z-BOS BIG WEEK AND CONTINUED STREAK: During the week of Dec. 3, the Kings played three games, finishing with a record of 1-2. Despite the wins and losses,
Kings big man Zach Randolph extended his 10 points and five rebounds streak to 12 straight games, the sixth longest active streak this season. The Michigan
State product played in all three games this week, averaging 24.0 points, 11.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game while shoting 58.5 percent from the
field. Z-Bo also shot 53.3 percent from three-point range, averaging 2.7 3s per 5.0 attempts over the three-game span. The 36-year old vet also has recorded a
double-double in each of the Kings three games during the week as well as four times in the last six contests.
FLASHBACK FRIDAY: In Friday nights victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, Kings forward Zach Randolph recorded 35 points and 13 assists. Randolph is the
eighth player in the NBA with 35 and 13 this season, posting his third double-double of the year. Randolph had not scored more than 30 points in a game since
2012-13 when he scored 38 points on Dec. 4, 2012 against the Suns and added 22 rebounds. During that season, Randolph was named an All-Star averaging
15.4 points and 11.2 rebounds per game.
Randolph joins Kareem Abdul Jabar, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Shaquille ONeal, and Robert Parishas the only players to have
at least 35 points and double-double in a game at the age of 36 points or older. (Basketball-Reference).
LEADING FROM 3: Kings guard Buddy Hield ranks fourth in the league in three-point field goal percentage at .472 percent, making 48 3s on 101 attempts this
season. The sophomore out of Oklahoma is shooting .609 percent from deep over that span, going 50-for-106 from deep. Sacramento guard George Hill cracks
the top 15, tied for 15th in three-point field goal percentage 27-for-61 from beyond the arc. The Kings are one of two teams with two players in the top 15 for
three-point field goal percentage as Indiana Pacers guards Corey Joseph (T-15th) and Victor Oladipo (14th) rank 15th or better in shooting percentage from deep.
JAKARRS HOMETOWN RETURN: In a return to his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, Kings forward JaKarr Sampson had a big night against the Cavaliers. Getting his
first start of the season, the Cleveland native scored six points while tallying 16 total rebounds, including four offensive and 12 defensive boards - setting career-
highs in all three categories. Sampsons 16-rebound performance has been done several times since the turn of the century, but just four different Kings have
completed the feat in that span. Former Kings center DeMarcus Cousins had the most with 27 16+ rebound games during his tenure with Sacramento. The last
time Cousins had 16 or more boards while donning a Kings uniform was on Jan. 28, 2017.
RESERVED THE POINTS FOR THE RESERVES: Once again, the Kings bench scored 29 straight consecutive points before a Kings starter recorded a single point. On
Dec. 2, Sacramentos bench had all the teams points until Willie Cauley-Stein knocked in his second of two free-throws with 7:48 remaining in the second quarter.
This is the second time the Kings have set this NBA record as they initially set it versus the Oklahoma City Thunder on Nov. 11 when the bench scored 29 points
Willie-Cauley Stein sunk two free-throws to end the starters scoring drought with 4:08 left to play in the first half. The previous record was 23 points scored by
Milwaukees reserves before then Bucks forward Luc Mbah a Moute knocked down his only shot of the night with 7:06 remaining in the half at Orlando on April 4,
2011. Unlike the Kings, Milwaukee was defeated as they only mustered 72 points even though the Magic scored just 78 themselves.
BENCH MOB: In every game this season but three, Sacramentos reserves have been able to outscore or tie their opponents total bench points. The Kings bench
is currently averaging 49.7 points per game, which is the best in The Association by more than four points. The Kings reserves also lead the league with 11.0
assists and 4.3 rebounds per game while tied with the Jazz and Raptors for the most steals per game with 4.3.
BUDDY BUCKETS: Buddy Hield 27-point performance included an outburst from 3, as the second-year guard knocked down seven three-pointers on nine attempts.
Hield became just the 13th player this season to make seven 3s on nine or more attempts; 18 players have accomplished the feat so far this season. Only four
players have made eight or more three-pointers, including Sixers guard JJ Redick whos done it twice, while Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard holds the current
2017-18 NBA season-high for three-pointers made with nine in a single game.
Since 1983, only 11 other Kings played have completed the feat of seven or more field-goals made from three-point range. The only other Kings player to make
seven three-pointers on less attempts was MItch Richmond who went 8-of-9 from beyond the arc on Feb. 25, 1994 at the LA Clippers and three years later on
Feb. 26, 1997 when he went a perfect 7-for-7 from deep at Boston. The last Kings player to record seven or more three-pointers was Omri Casspi when he tied
the franchise record with nine 3s on 12 attempts at Golden State on Dec. 28, 2015.
WILLIE LEADS ALL: In Sacramentos win over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, Willie Cauley-Stein led the Kings in points, rebounds and assists as he
recordeed 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Cauley-Stein is just one of eight big men this season to accomplish that feat of at least 19 points, eight board
and six dimes, including being the only one to accomplish the task as a reserve.
THE FOX FILES:
- DeAaron Fox currently ranks ninth in scoring and third in assists amongst all rookies in the NBA.
- Per Elias, DeAarons Foxs jumper with 13.4 seconds left in the game versus Philadelphia made him the youngest player in the last five seasons to make a game
winning field goal in the final 30 seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime. The last player to accomplish this was Bradly Beal of the Washington Wizards who also
made a shot like Foxs on a les-second go ahead buck against the Thunder on January 7, 2013.
- DeAaron Fox dished out 10 assists on 10/20 at Dallas in his second ever NBA Basketball game. Two other players in franchise history have had 10+ assists in
their first or second NBA game: Oscar Robertson (1st) on 10/19/1960 and Phil Ford (2nd) on 10/17/1978 (via Elias). Fox also became one of 11 players since
1985 have had 10+ assists in their first or second career NBA game.
- As a reserve in the 10/20 victory at Dallas, Fox joined just one other rookie to record 10 or more assists in their first or second career NBA game off the bench
which was Tim Frazier who had 11 at Boston on February 6, 2015. The only player to have 10+ assists in less minutes played than Fox was Rumeal Robinson of
the Atlanta Hawks who had 10 assists in 21 minutes in his second professional game versus the Indiana Pacers on November 3, 1990.
NO NEED FOR THE THREE: In Fridays matchup between the Kings and Trail Blazers, both teams shot under 29 percent from three-point range marking the first
time since the 2015-16 season that each team shot below 29 percentage in a game. and just the second time since the turn of the century The Chicago Bulls and
Detroit Pistons were the last two to do this on December 18, 2015 when they shot 22.7 and 27.6 percent respectively from beyond the arc. That game would end
up going into quadruple overtime, with Detroit winning 147-144 as each team took more than 120 field goal attempts, but no more than 29 three-point attempts.
In Sac-Era history, their have only been two other games where the KIngs and their opponents shot under 29 percent from 3; Sacramento won both contests.

KINGS 2017-18 REGULAR SEASON NOTES
CAREER NIGHTS IN THE DESERT: Kings guards Buddy Hield and Garrett Temple capped off the teams three-game road trip by notching a couple of individual
career-highs. Hield pickpocketed the Suns five times, all in the third quarter, to surpass his previous career-high of three steals when he was a member of the New
Orleans Pelicans. Hield fell one steal shy of tying Randy Browns 15 year old record of six steals in one quarter. Temple provided a spark of his own, but on the
offensive end as he scored 16 fourth quarter points, knocking down five of his seven shots from beyond the arc. The 10-year veteran finished with a career-high
tying 23 points while eclipsing his previous career-high in three-pointers made with six. Temples five 3s in a quarter was one short of the Kings franchise record
set by Omri Casspi back on December 28, 2015 when he totaled six three-pointers in the second quarter against Golden State.
GOING ON 30: Heading into the 2017-18 season, Grant Napear begins his 30th season as the Kings TV play-by-play announcer. The New York native started calling
Kings televised games beginning with the 1988-99 season up until the 1993-94 season. Following that season, Napear took on Kings radio play-by-play duties for
two seasons from 1995-97. After serving on the radio for two seasons, Napear rejoined the television broadcast in 1998 and has been calling Kings games ever since.
Napear is not only an important media figure for the team, but in the city of Sacramento as well, as he hosts the citys top-rateed afternoon sports talk show, The
Grant Napear Show with Doug Christie, on KHTK. Heres to year 30, Grant.
ATTENDANCE STREAK: The Sacramento Kings have enjoyed much support from its fans and community in Sacramento. The Kings are currently on a 57-game home
