Context:

Understanding the Brief:

In our brief we were asked to produce a visual production of which would be suitable and
within the guidelines of the Raindance Film festival. We can choose between several
different types of visual production. The video types that are accepted are feature films over
45 minutes, short films under 45 minutes, music videos under 6 minutes, with
Documentaries and animation also being options.

Criteria:

There were several criteria of which we had to follow. The fine print that we were given
stated that we had to create and produce an original idea of which we ourselves came up
with. So this meant that we couldn’t just copy the layout or just frame by frame copy a
already created video. The next point was to not suggest drug use and have no indication of
any illegal substances being used. Lastly the videos cannot contain any
unnecessary/excessive bad language. Lastly the brief states that the production must be
submitted by the 2nd March 2018 to be able to be qualified.
