MANAGEMENT ASPECTS

FORM OF ORGANIZATION

The choice of the type of business organization depends on the objectives set by the
enterprise. The forms of organization we can select are sole proprietorship, partnership,
corporation and cooperatives.

For our intended project, the type of business organization that best suits is corporation.
Corporation as defined is an artificial being created by operation of law having the right of
succession and the power, attributes and properties expressly authorized by law or incident to
its existence.

Corporation was chosen for the following reasons:

1. The corporation has a legal capacity to act as a legal unit.

2. Has continuity of existence, which strengthens its credit.

3. Management is centralized in the board of directors.

4. The creation, organization, management and dissolution are standardized, as they are
governed less than one general incorporation law.

5. Makes feasible gigantic financial enterprise since it enables may individuals to invest their
separate funds in the enterprise.

6. Shareholders have limited liability and are not general agents of the business.

7. The shares of the stock can be transferred without the consent of the other stockholders.

POLICIES OF THE COMPANY

Employment procedure

The employee procedure consists of a series of steps that lead to the selection of the
prospective employee to fill the job vacant.

1. Applicants are to get an I.Q. and Psychological test.

2. Preliminary interview will be conducted to applicants who have passed the I.Q. and
Psychological test.
3. Passing the preliminary interview will qualify the applicant to undergo panel interview.

4. Prospective employee is to pass Pre-Employment requirements as follows:

4.1 SSS card.

4.2 TIN card.

4.3 Transcript of records (For College Graduates/Tech. graduates) or form 137 for high
school graduates

4.4 Birth certificate.

4.5 Marriage certificate (For Married Applicants).

4.6 NBI/ Police clearance.

4.7 4.Copies of 2x2 colored pictures with green background.

4.8 Medical certificate.

Applicants are to be sourced through advertisement with the general qualification:

1. Must be of legal age

2. Must be physically fit and capable of working.

3. Must possess the company requirements for work related skills, educational
attainment and personality requirements.

WORKING HOURS AND PAY SCHEDULES

The normal working hours will be eight (8) hours with three (3) shifts per day and (6)
days a week. Employees must record their working hours in their time card based on the logged
time in and time out in guardhouse.

All the special holidays declare by the government are to be recognized by the company.
All are not considered paid holidays.

Pay deduction are to be made from the employee’s salary for SSS, PHILHEALTH and
WITHHOLDING TAX and other authorized deduction.
Payment of salaries and allowances will be made twice a month every 13ᵀᴴ and 28ᵀᴴ of
the month through the payroll officer.

WELFARE AND BENEFITS

To help employees relieve the financial burdens due to health problems, the company
will provide the following benefits: medical, hard pay, vacation and sick leaves, retirement and
death. Also, Loans, Christmas bonus and 13ᵀᴴ month pay will be granted. Salaries will increase
20% annually and as an employee is promoted. Overtime pay will be 125% of the rate per hour.
Separation payment will be given only after five (5) years of service in the company.
Bereavement, maternity and paternity will also be provided.

Identification cards will be given free of charge including the uniforms and safety
equipment’s which consists of a white shirt with the company’s logo and gloves, the operators
should provide their own blue denim pants. For those in the admin, they have their choice
uniform also free of charge.

PATERNITY LEAVE

The company grants paternity leave to male employees for the purpose of assisting their
spouse in times of child delivery.

Coverage: All male employees

Entitlement: Seven days paternity leave with pay

Requirement:

1. Covers the four deliveries or miscarriage of legal spouse in times of child


delivery.

2. Accomplishment of paternity notification for immediately upon confirmation of


wife’s pregnancy; copy of marriage contract to be attached to the form.

PERFORMANCE AND STANDARD QUALITY

To ascertain the fulfillment of the project objectives and goals, the performance of the
employee’s taken a high regard. To do this, the company will follow these procedures:

1. Conduct employee’s Orientation, a day before the start of work. The orientation will
cover the company profile, policies, code of conduct and discipline, organizational
structure, benefits and welfare.
2. Train the working force prior to the start of the operation to achieve high productivity
through the appropriate man power.

3. Implement job rotation for every employee/worker to familiarize with the different jobs
to be performed.

4. Require strict adherence to the policy and code of the company to promote safety
and standard quality.

OFFICERS AND KEY PERSONNEL

The proposed business limited number of workers. The management will designated
and delegate responsibility to different personnel according to the skills and knowledge they

Possess. Ad to properly monitor and observe if every employee is doing his or job, the following
duties and responsibilities are enumerated for different position in the organization. Our
organization structures comprise the following positions with the duties and responsibility that
their roles entail;

GENERAL MANAGER

Qualification;

1. Male, at least 30 years of age

2. Must be a graduate of any business related course

3. Must be good in written and oral communication

4. At least 5 years of experience in the field of business

Duties and Responsibilities;

1. He has the greatest responsibility in making decision concerning the activities of the
business.

2. Responsibility for the implementation of the policies, rules and regulation of the
company.

3. Responsible for developing public relation among members of the organization and
the community where the business is located.
ACCOUNTANT

Qualification

1. Female

2. Must be a certified Public Accountant

3. Good Moral Character

Duties and Responsibilities;

1. Prepares the financial statement, journal vouchers, budget and other referring to the
expenses made by the one in-charge in the purchase of raw may materials.

2. Keeps and prepares papers and documents regarding transaction with customers.

3. Keeps the receipts of materials purchases and book of accounts.

4. Assist the General-Management with regard to financial matters of the organization.

MARKETING OFFICER

Qualification;

1. Male

2. with pleasing personality

3. At least 2-3 years of experience

4. College graduate with excellent communication skills, selling ability. Competitive and
self-drive.

Duties and responsibilities;

1. Responsible for finding customers for the product and maintaining effective
professional relationship with clients.

2. Choose the proper distribution coverage of the market of the product.

3. Prepares sales forecast and market analysis.

PURCAHSING OFFICER
Qualification;

1. Male

2. 30 to 35 years if age

3. with an experience of at least 3-4 years

Duties and responsibilities;

1. Responsible for the purchase of the necessary materials and makes necessary
payments.

2. Involves in the inventory and control production of plastic

3. maintenance constant check and control on quality of raw material and production

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Qualification;

1. Male

2. At least 2 years of experience

3. Engineering graduate or related course.

Duties and responsibilities;

1. Responsible for the maintenance of equipment and machinery of the firm.

2. Prepares the schedule of production.

3. Maintenance the demand quality of plastic wares to be produced.

ENGINEERS

Qualification;

1. Male

2. Engineering graduate
3. 2 years of experience in tending industrial plant machineries

Duties and responsibility;

1. Gives procedures or instructions in operating machineries and equipment.

2. Maintains and repairs mechanical and electrical machinery and equioment.

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Qualification;

1. Male

2. Good Moral Character

3. with working experience in inventory control

Duties and responsibility;

1. Issues all requisitions for the company owned materials and supplies.

2. Manages all the track of materials inventories and ordering.

3. Manages the planning and supply including the liaison with suppliers and customers
ensuring efficient supply chain.

CASHIER /PAYROLL /BOOKKEEPER

Qualification;

1. Female

2. College level

3. Honest with a deep sense of reponsibility

Duties and Responsibility;

1. Prepares deposit slips and issue checks disbursement

2. Checks sales and envelop to employee

3. Assists the accountant with regard to financial matters.


EXTRUSION OPERATOR

Qualification;

1. Male, 18 and above

2. Hardworking

3. At lest high school graduate

Duties and Responsibility;

1. Responsible in maintaining the extrusion machine.

2. Performs other functions directed by the engineers.

3. Operates the machine and performs the operating activities.

INJECTION OPERATOR

Qualification;

1. Male, 18 years old and above

2. Hardworking

3. At least high school graduate

Duties and Responsibility;

1. Responsible in maintaining the injection machine.

2. Performs other function direct by the engineers.

3. Operates the machine and perform the operating activities

PRINTER

Qualification;

1. Male

2. Hardworking

3. At least high school graduate


Duties and Responsibility;

1. Responsible for the right combination of colors.

2. Operates the printing machine and performs the operating activities

PACKAGER

Qualification;

1. Male/Female

2. Hardworking

3. At least high school graduate

Duties and Responsibilities;

1. Responsible for checking of finished products.

2. Takes care for checking of finished product will packaging.

UTILITY MEN

Qualification;

1. Responsible for getting the finished products and transferring it to the stockroom.

DRIVER

1. Responsible for delivery of finished products to the customer

2. Responsible for taking of raw materials from the supplies.

HELPER

1. Responsible in loading and unloading of the products.

2. Assists in taking raw materials from suppliers.

3. Takes care of the good in transit.

4. Responsible for assisting the delivery of finished product to the customers.

Duties and Responsibilities;

1. Makes sure of the safety of the vicinity of the plant and observes the manpower
therein.

2. Responsible for the in and out of the employees.

CODES OF POLICIES

Disciplinary intervention and penalties are of the five types depending on the nature and
gravity of an offense.
1. Light Offense

First Offense- written reminder

Second Offense- 3 day’s suspension

Third Offense- 1 week suspension

Fourth Offense- 1 month suspension

Fifth Offense- dismissal

2. Moderately Serious Offense

representative.

E. Use and Protection of Company Property, Facilities and resources

1. Improper and abusive use of company facilities Moderate serious offense

resulting to damage to company property and/or equipment.

F. Acts against Persons

1. Threatening, intimidating, coercing, and/or attempting Serious offense

to inflict bodily harm on co-employee’s for any reason

The imposition of penalties as specified herein shall be without prejudice to the right
of the company to file the appropriate administrative and/or criminal charges in the proper courts
and/or government agencies against he erring employment. The company likewise reserves the
right to assess and collect from the employee the appropriate amounts arising from damages
incurred due to the acts or omission of its employee’s.
