Opening of Lights

Reflection

Opening of lights is of the most awaited activity by the students in the school because
the school will be fully decorated with lights and Christmas decors like lanterns, Christmas tree,
Santa Clause and many more. It gives happiness to the students since it is also indicating that
there will be a long Christmas and New Year vacation.

The opening of lights is one of the strategies of the school to promote to the students
that the Christmas season is approaching and for them to be able to exercise their spiritual
beliefs. In this manner the students will become aware of the yuletide season where everyone
is ready to forgive and be thankful for all the blessings received for the whole year from our
Lord.

In principles of teaching, we discuss the principles and the strategies that a teacher may
use when it comes to transferring knowledge to the students. These principles and strategies
should be deeply understood for a teacher to know what to do in order to perform his/her duty
to make the students learn through teaching in an appropriate way

Like opening of lights, for the students to feel the essence of Christmas the school
conducted this kind of event as a strategy to relay the importance of celebrating the birth of
our Saviour. Whereas, it is a season of loving and sharing graces to those unfortunate ones.
