IBM Intelligent Video Analytics Supported Analytics
IBM Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) offers an event-based solution that ▶▶ Virtual Tripwire
analyzes video feeds shared from Security Center to provide alerts in ▶▶ Tailgating
real time in the IBM IVA web client. IVA produces a rich set of metadata ▶▶ Facial Detection
describing what is occurring in a scene. With this metadata, IVA supports ▶▶ Direction of movement
comprehensive forensic search, cross correlation and trend analysis of
▶▶ People Counting
activity across every camera and sensor.

IVA - Security Center Integration Details ▶▶ Traffic Management
The IVA Analytics Engine analyzes live video streams shared from Security ▶▶ Object Left/Taken
Center and generates Event and Alert metadata describing activity occuring ▶▶ Queue Management
in the video. The IVA Metadata Engine stores and indexes this metadata. ▶▶ Dwell Time
Alerts are forwarded to IVA clients in real time, while Events are searchable ▶▶ Path Map
from the IVA web UI. ▶▶ Heat Map
When an operator wishes to view video related to an Alert or Event, the IVA web UI
requests the relevant video stream from Security Center and disiplays it in the UI.
