Vertical Ladder Load Analysis

The document analyzes the structural integrity of a vertical ladder attached to a horizontal aboveground fuel tank. It calculates the required and actual load ratings of the ladder components and connections. It determines that the stresses induced on the side rails, rungs, and supports are below the allowable stress limits. It also determines the shear stresses in all fillet welds connecting the ladder parts are below the allowable weld shear stress. Therefore, all components and welds of the ladder are deemed structurally sufficient and safe for the intended load.
