I submit that the work"Proposed Renovation&Restoration works of Sri


Markandeya Swamy Temple@ Eluru",Est.Cost.Rs.5.00 lakhs was sanctioned under vide
reference 3rd cited.In this connection,I submit that DPR prepared for the above work was also
furnished to the PR Department,so that any deviation with reference to the DPR can be brought to
the notice of the higher authorities.

The following items are proposed in the DPR:-

1)Supply and fixing of Iron Grill to the Mukhamandapam

2)Construction of ticket counter at entrance

In this connection,I submit that the Chairman,Sri.M.Srinivasa Rao and other


trustees of the temple informed that there are no considerable no of devotees visiting the temple on
regular basis,hence construction of ticket counter is not needed.They further informed that the
grills were already fixed in Mukhamandapam.

They further informed that AMMAVARI TEMPLE(Plan &Photo enclosed)


is very old and roof is also leaking.As such,they requested to construct new building for the above
said temple.After inspection of the temple,it is found the proposal of the trustees is genuine .

In this connection,I submit that there is relevance between the DPR of


archeology department and the actual work necessary for the temple.As such,it is not possible
to take up the without deviating the DPR.
