Leaf Morphology Observation Activity

This document describes a laboratory activity where students observed and described the leaf morphology of 10 different plant species. For each species, they recorded the scientific name, phyllotaxy, shape, apex, base, margin, and venation of the leaves. Students were instructed to take a clear photograph of each leaf and use Simpson's Plant Morphology as a reference for morphological terminology. The completed activity sheet with observations and photos was to be submitted online.
