INTRODUCTION:
Collectorate is an Administrative head office
in a district under INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE. It was mainly
in charge of revenue collection and administration of various
departments in a district.
NEED FOR THE PROJECT:
The main need for the project is the
existing collectorate was 200 years old and also most of the
department yet to be added on the new collectorate building.
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
* The building has to design with energy
conservative technics. Solar power in top roof of the building and
rainwater harvesting inside the site.
* To creating in a way of Dutch and British
Architecture.

FEASIBILITY:
* The new building was constructed in a existed
building so it was inspire to follow the old design techniques.
* The land area also provided with very secured
zone.
* The project has lot of restrictions from other
parties around the city but the department finalised the tender.

Patna Collectorate has district head quarter
offices of the district besides district administration offices such as
District Magistrates office, different sections as Establishment,
Revenue, Arms, General, Nazareth and legal etc. Besides It has
also district level offices of Treasury, Registration, Excise, Supply,
Education, Election, Public Relations, Disaster Management, Social
Security, Statistics, Small Savings, Lok Sikayat and NIC.
