Emily’s Steakhouse was established in 2007 to become the largest dedicated steakhouse in
Derby, continuing to serve the finest steaks with locally sourced ingredients.
Since 2014 we have introduced Aberdeen Angus beef onto our menu.

How we Cook Our Steaks – Guideline
Blue – All surfaces seared for 30 seconds and is served uncooked
Rare – 10% cooked on each side with the inner 80% rare uncooked
Medium Rare – 20% cooked in each side leaving the middle 60% uncooked
Medium – 25% cooked on each side leaving the middle 50% very juicy pink
Medium Well – 35% cooked in each side leaving the middle 30% pink no blood
Well Done – Cooked throughout to brown meat
Please don’t suffer in silence:
If your steak is not cooked to your satisfaction, we will replace it without quibble (subject to 80% not eaten).
Steaks are a natural organic produce such that texture and flavour may vary. We make strenuous efforts to strive for the best cuts to
ensure quality but ultimately cannot eat into your steak to quality control.
Polite Notice: A discretionary charge of £ 10 will be levied for plate sharing steaks and main courses.
