Separation Techniques for Mixtures

The document describes a process to separate a mixture of sand, iron, sodium chloride, and Styrofoam balls. Water is added to allow the Styrofoam balls to float and be scooped out. The remaining mixture is filtered to separate out the sand and iron. A magnet is then used to draw the iron out of the sand, leaving separated sodium chloride, iron, sand, and Styrofoam balls.
