Thank you for applying to be a Pine View High School Band Council Member! Band Council Members
are entrusted with a tremendous amount of responsibility and are extremely critical to our success; they are the
‘glue’ that bonds our whole band together. While a Band Council Member is sometimes seen as someone who
tells his or her section/ensemble what to do, the true role of a Band Council Member is quite the opposite.
Band Council Members serve the band and ensures the best possible experience for everyone. It is a difficult,
but very rewarding responsibility!
