Reflection
We went to Tanduay Distelleria Inc in Cabuyao Laguna as a starter the starter for the field trip.
They’ve introduced us to the company’s profile, the alcohol making process and its annual
production rate. they’ve also shown the different products throughout the decades.
We then started the tour in packaging section, we saw how the bottled up the products then we
moved to their storage. We knew that the best tasting liquors have a longer storing period and
we saw how they store the liqours. I can smell the barrel and know the difference between the
newly created ones and the one stored for a long period of time. approximately 20 years.
they’ve even let us smell 2 different liquor. one with a longer storage time and the other one
the opposite. We toured the whole plant seeing its ionizer, the laboratory for testing etc. then
we visited their displays which is very nice. they allow the students to take some photos after
giving tanduay memorabilia.

Gardenia Bakeries Philippines, Inc. Binan, Laguna
Reflection
Gardenia is a well known bread company in the Philippines located in Binan, Laguna. We
visited the plant for the second itinerary for the day. The Gardenia welcomed the students of
Adamson University by giving us snacks that is new in our taste. They showed a video of the
process from dough making, dough rising until the bread production.
Gardenia is a small process plant comparing to other production plant we visited, they showed
us what is happening in the video then let us see the actual production plant. We didn’t get the
chance to see it upfront but they have glass windows to see everything that was happening.
I had so much fun looking at the cooling stage of the bread because it was satisfying to see the
bread going up and down the cooling stage. At the end of the tour we were able to cop their
product for a discount
