Sleep
We all know that sleeping well is good for us, but sometimes it can be
difficult. Here are some suggestions to help you get a better night's sleep:
1. Try to sleep at regular times. If you have a sleep routine, it really helps.
2. Find a quiet place and take a 15 minute nap if you feel tired during the
day.
3. When you go to bed, make sure your room is quiet, cool, and dark. It's
the best way to get a good night's sleep.
Remember that everyone has sleep problems at some time. Don't get
stressed if you can't sleep for one or two nights. But if you don't sleep well

Dear Mr. Planter,

I just wanted to email you and say thank you for all your help over the last year. Maine
College accepted me into their engineering program, and I’m going to start my course in
September. I’m going to have a leaving party on Saturday 20, at 5: 00 p.m. next month, and
I would really like you to come. We’re going to have the party at the bowling alley. Several
of my classmates are coming to the party, and I know they want to see you too.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Marc Chapman

Hi Phil,
I’m just writing a quick note to invite you to a party next weekend. I’m celebrating because
I passed my driving test – finally! We’re planning to have pizza at Joe’s at 6:00 p.m. I hope
you can come. Margot’s going to be there and she’s going to bring her cousin, Alicia. It’s
going to be fun.
Hope to see you there.

2 Sobre ti Actividad C
Usa tus propias ideas.

hermano. ¡No lo podía creer! Es increíble que puedas conocer a alguien
en una multitud de 15,000 personas así. ¡Es un mundo pequeño!
Unit 9 Lesson D Happy endings
2 About you Activity C
Use your own ideas. Here is an example.
Last weekend, I went to a concert with some of my friends. It took a
couple of hours to drive to the concert. It was pretty far. While we were
waiting in line to get in, we started talking to some people. I thought one
of the girls looked familiar. But I wasn’t sure. But when she said she was
from the same town, I asked her “Which school do you go to?” It was the
same school as my brother, and I realized she was one of my brother’s
friends. I couldn’t believe it! It’s amazing that you can meet someone in a
crowd of 15,000 people like that. It’s a small world!
