“ROLL FORMING MACHINE”
BACKGROUND
Roll forming machine is a machine that works to print shapes on mild steel plates. This roll
forming machine is the main tool in the process of making trust and lightweight steel roofs which are
now a trend in the infrastructure world.
Several years ago, when the roof of this type of mild steel just entered the Indonesian market,
roll forming machines on the market were imported with high prices and giant sizes. But with the
development of technology in the local market and in the world, roll forming machines now appear with
small capacity and small size. Obviously this type of roll forming machine is also priced at a more
economical price.
The main key of the roll forming machine working system is found in a hard steel rolling circuit
system which works in series to form a curve in a mild steel plate. On a local product machine, you can
make a custom arrangement of this hard steel roll so that it can produce a roof with a variety of surfaces.
The size of the roll forming machine depends on the size of the plate you are working on. For
the manufacture of roofs of course the plates will be wider so that it requires a wide machine. While for
trusts, they usually use small plates that are elongated, so you need a small roll forming machine.
In addition, the roll forming machine is also divided into 2 categories, namely:

REVERSE OF INVESMENT
Price of rolling forming machines = Rp. 100.000.000
This tool produces mild steel in 1 day 250 sticks (6 meters long), the price of plate material is
Rp.35,000 / stick and the selling price is Rp.60,000 / stem.
In 1 month this tool produces 250 stem x 22 days (working time a month) = 5.500 stem.
Material price - selling price = Rp.60.000 - Rp.35.000 = Rp.25.000.
profit = 5.500 stem x Rp.25.000 = Rp.137.500.000.
From the profits obtained, the capital returns to the purchase of rolling forming machines can
be obtained in a period of 1 month.
