Global Achievers”. It was established in 1948; it was
founded by a young couple named Atty. Felix Ordas Alfelor
Sr. and Dr. Remedios Regoroso Alfelor as small school and
was first located in a rented property at the town center.
Mabini Memorial School, as it was named in the beginning,
offered complete high school and degree courses in
Education and Liberal Arts. In a few years, the school
bought 17 hectares of land, a former dumpsite near the
town center. It then transferred into the new site and
developed the campus, completing it in the early 1960s and
then was renamed as Mabini College. Other degrees were
added and offered. The school population even grew more
rapidly.
1954, the two wooden buildings, parallel to one
another were constructed at the site of the present
entrance gate and driveway and served as the first
classrooms for elementary classes. Then a long L-shaped
wooden building at the present site of Panga building rose.
To house the large high school enrollees at daytime
and college students during late afternoon and evening. A
U-shaped well groomed 3 nipa made cottages were constructed
near the present site of elementary building to house the
large elementary department.
