E. CONCLUSION
As a conclusion, people with mental illness are often misunderstood and often times
being criticised for their inappropriate behaviour. Worst are often labeled with stigma
throughout their lives corrupting their functions. Therefore, the clients who have still a family
should include in taking care of the client’s condition because there is a great influence from
the family and significant others in the development and progression of the illness. In relation
to the management and interventions, close monitoring and guidance are important for the
safety of the client especially for the recurrence of the signs and symptoms of the illness.
Throughout our duty in MMH, we encountered new patients that we do not normally
meet that would make us realise how lucky we are in a way that we do not yet adopt these
mental disorders. We should learn how to appreciate what we have. With that, we must give
the best we can in order to provide their needs and make them feel that there are people who
still care for them so that they don’t lose hope and have a chance to recover.
