Travancore Titanium Products Ltd. was incorporated on 18th of December 1946, to produce pigment
grade Titanium dioxide from ilmenite which is abundantly available as placer deposits on beaches near
Kollam, 65 Kms north of the capital city, Thiruvananthapuram in the coastal state of Kerala,India.The
unit was promoted by the then princely state of Travancore in collaboration with the British Titan
Products (BTP) Company Limited, U.K.(now known as Tioxide Group Limited).The administrative control
of the company was with a managing agency, Indian Titan Products Company.

Duties:

 Under training for independent handling and supervision of cost & financial accounting

 Debtors/Creditors Ledger analysis, reconciliation and settlement
 Preparation of Budget and implementing Budgetary controls

Duties:

 Varifying material purchases in line with purchase order & and approving vendor
invocies for payment
 Calculating the purchase price variance for each product line and vendor
 Determining product cost and pricing for each new product after collaborating with
operations
 Handling direct expenses,freight,C & F and employee tour expense control and payment
approval
 Consolidating records & filing of GST returns and representation before authorities
 Studying and tracking profitability/net realisation on sales and variance analysis
 Supporting financial accounting & monthly book closure
 Coordinating Bad Debt Recovery & Money Suits with lawyer
 Conducting stock audit, ISO audit and overall internal auditor
 Formulating robust financial controls framework through regular review, updating and
maintenance of financial policies and procedures
