E. SALES FORECAST

Demand Analysis

For the computation, we apply the number of people who pass by per hour on the

said location. Using the peak hours and the off-peak hours, we multiply the number on

how many people pass by the vicinity. Thus, shown below is the formula to compute for

the total of the potential daily demand:

Peak hours = 80 persons Off-peak hours = 20 persons

Peak hours: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Off-Peak Hours: 10:00am -11:00 am

4:00pm-9:00pm 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Peak hours: 80 Off-peak hours: 20

560 + 80 = 640 Potential Daily Demand

In order to compute the actual daily demand, actual monthly demand and actual yearly demand,
the potential daily demand are being multiplied by 61.46% (market acceptability):
Actual Daily Demand = Potential Daily Demand x 61.46%
= 640 x 61.46%
= 393
Actual Annual Demand = Actual Daily Demand x 310
= 393 x 310
= 121,830

The demand and supply gap above shows a positive result as the demand gap is higher

than the supply gap. There is a growth in the demand which means many people will patronize

the business and its products. This shows that the business would have a high market demand in

the upcoming years.
