Air Operator Certificate Issuance Process

To obtain an air operator certificate (AOC), an operator must meet requirements set by the competent authority, including setting up an organization, quality system, training programs, and maintenance requirements. After meeting all the prescribed procedures, the authority will award an AOC, which includes the operator's name and location, date of issue and period of validity, authorized aircraft types and registrations, approved areas of operation, and any special authorizations. An AOC must be carried onboard at all times as it allows an operator to conduct commercial air transportation in accordance with the certificate's terms and conditions.

authority the operator will be awarded with an AOC the content of which shall
include, name and location of the operator, date of issue and period of validity,

obtain approval for a system to inform the authority about the registration
markings for airplanes operated under its AOC, authorized areas of operation,
