NOTICE INVITING TENDER


Tenders in sealed envelope are hereby invited from approved Govt contractors / Firms duly registered
with Pakistan Engineer Council for the year 2019 and renewed with Works Department Gilgit-Baltistan for
the year, 2018-19 for execution of the following works. The tenders shall be opened on the same date and time
as mentioned below in presence of the contractors or their authorized representative.

2. Tender copy can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on cash payment as shown above work (not
refundable) on any working day, one day before date of opening, as per following terms and conditions: -
a. Tender form shall be issued to the Govt. Contractors in person on production of original CNIC, PEC
Registration certificate 2019 and renewal enlistment fee receipt 2019-20.
b. Contractors /Firms Shall provide 2% E/Money of estimated cost in shape of deposit at call in the name of
Executive Engineer (Bridges & Roads) Division Gilgit from any schedule bank of Pakistan.
c. Tender documents shall not be issued to contractors, involved in litigation with any Govt organization or
heaving sick / delayed projects.
d. No tender will be sold on the date of opening of tender.
e. In case of unbalanced bid tendered below 10% of the T/S cost, the bidder shall deposit CDR @ 50% of
differential amount calculated below 10% of T/S cost within 14 days of letter of issued by the Engineer prior to
approval of rates. If the bidders fail to deposit the CDR within given time, their bid security shall be forfeited
and the 1st lowest bidder among the balanced rates within 10% below the T/S cost shall be recommended for
approval by the competent authority.
Note: The Procuring agency may reject any or all bids at any time prior to the acceptance of a tender under the
provision of PPRA Rules.
