SpiceJet Pilot Recruitment T&C

SpiceJet is recruiting pilots with a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) to serve as Trainee First Officers (TFOs). Applicants must have an Indian CPL, Class I medical certificate, Flight Radio Telephone Operator's License, Radio Telephony Restricted certificate, and English proficiency of level 4 or higher. Candidates will undergo a four phase selection process in New Delhi or Gurgaon including a CPL theory test, advanced aptitude test, complex control task test, psychometric test, and technical interview. Successful candidates will be notified within two weeks and required to sign a five year employment contract with one year notice period. Training costs must be paid by the candidate.

TFO Entrance exam for CPL holders as TFO
SpiceJet is growing at a fast pace, hence there is a need for more pilots to come and
join this elite airline. We are conducting TFO entrance exams for CPL holders as TFO
from October -2019 onwards. Qualification & selection process as given below:
Terms and conditions for TFO entrance exam
Qualification requirements:

1. Indian CPL/ATPL
2. Class I Medical
3. FRTOL
4. RTR
5. ELP 4 or above
6. Valid Indian passport

All the above documents should be valid (both at the time of applying and at the time of
joining).

We are seeking applications for CPL holders as TFO

Selection process:

1. There will be a 4-phase testing process conducted at New Delhi/ Gurgaon or in


any other city as decided by SpiceJet.
2. All tests will be computer based.

Selection Criteria

i. Pass each phase


ii. Meet the minimum marks as decided by SpiceJet to join the Merit list for each
phase.

Important Information

1. All costs related to boarding, lodging and/or travel etc. are to be borne by the
candidate.

2. The selection process may take up to two (02) weeks from the date of the Phase
1 test.

3. Declaration of results (ONLY successful candidates shall be intimated):

Phase 1-3: Within three (03) days of examination


Phase 4-5: Within 2 weeks of the examination.

4. Any attempt by a candidate of using any means of canvassing/touts/agents and/


or any unfair means, at any stage during the entire process will lead to an
immediate disqualification from the selection procedure, and such candidate shall
be permanently disqualified from each of SpiceJet’s selection procedure in future.

5. Payments made by the candidate, either in respect of the examination fees and/
or training cost, are non-refundable under any circumstance.

6. SpiceJet’s decision in respect of the selection procedure (at any and all stages)
shall be final and binding, and no communication in this respect shall be
entertained.

7. SpiceJet is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of an alteration or


cancellation/postponement of the selection. SpiceJet shall assume no liability
whatsoever in the event this selection is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed
due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event
that renders performance of this selection impracticable, illegal or impossible. For
purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war,
fire, labour strike, extreme weather or other emergency.
Terms of Employment
1. Each candidate is required to sign a Service Undertaking for a term of five (05)
years, with a minimum notice period of one (01) year.

2. Training will be self-sponsored. The cost shall be payable at the time of joining
the company.
