Footing Mark: F2: I. Input Data

This document provides input data and calculations for assessing the footing capacity of Footing F2 for a school building in Manila, Philippines. It includes the dimensions and reinforcement of the footing, properties of the soil and concrete, and applied loads from the column and soil. Calculations are shown to determine the maximum and minimum bearing pressures on the soil from the dead load, live load, weight of the footing and overlying soil. Forces are resolved and combined moments are calculated in two directions, Mx and Mz, to evaluate the demand on the footing.

II. SOLVING FOR BEARING PRESSURES

Determine max and min bearing pressure on soil :
- Use unfactored loads
- Include weight of pedestal
- Include weight of footing
- Include weight of soil on top of footing
- Resolve shear forces into equivalent moment forces on footing
- Moment forces are in two directions Mx and Mz
- Add Moment due to DL and LL

Pedestal Load/ Column Load = 0.00 kN

Weight of Footing = 51.66 kN
Weight of Soil = 112.09 kN
