The Secret Guide to Chennai’s Street Food

Chennai is a great place for foodies. There are a variety of restaurants and
cuisines to choose from like Continental, Thai, Italian etc. But, the tastiest of them all
can be found in the little lanes and near the breezy beaches. Here is a list of five
such places and where to find them.

1. Seena Bhai Tiffin Centre

This place is found in N.S.C Bose Road, Sowcarpet. Its knows for its
ghee podi idlies and square-shaped podi onion uthappams. Why square-shaped, you
ask? Because they make twenty-five utappams in one go! The dishes are served
with a green and red chutney, but no sambhar. Anyways, who needs any sides
when ghee and podi are there? If you’re the kinda person who loves South Indian
food, this place is a treat.

A few things to keep in mind while trying out street foods:
· Use a two-wheeler or go by walk cause most of the places will not have parking
facilities.
· Take a bottle of water cause the constant walking will make your thirsty. A few
tissues and a hand sanitiser wouldn’t be unnecessary either.

That’s all! Have fun treating your taste buds with some scrumptious food
without breaking the bank.
