1. Motivation
The teacher will show a picture and asked the student what is the first thing they
think about the picture.
2. Presentation
A short video clip will be shown to present about government and governance.

1. What are the significant word which refers to government and another to governance
being discuss in the video.
2. How does government work?

 The teacher will discuss with the aid of a PowerPoint presentation about the concept of
GOVERNMENT which is defined as the group of people with authority to govern a
country or state, while GOVERNANCE is defined as a process of decision making and
the process by which decisions are implemented. (Oxford Dictionary)

Slogan making
 The students grouped will be according to their respective numbers. Each group will have
to make a slogan that will established how government and its process affect our daily
lives?
The activity will be scored with the following rubrics:

10 pts- relevance to the topic


10 pts- creativity
5 pts- neatness
25-presentation

4. APPLICATION
The teacher will asked the following question to the student.
1. Is there any governance structure in our municipality?
2. If so what it is? Does it work? How does it work?
3. Why do you think our Municipality is one of the recipient of SEAL OF GOOD
GOVERNANCE among other municipality?

C. EVALUATION
Quiz (10 pts). In a ½ cross-wise paper, the students will have to illustrate a VENN
DIAGRAM of GOVERNMENT and GOVERNANCE.

D. ASSIGNMENT
The teacher will ask the students to bring a picture of a known political leader.
