required, and since the light grid is built into the guide tracks, the
risk of damage from a collision is greatly minimized. These
advantages are why Hörmann Flexon high-speed doors are
especially easy to install and maintain.

frequency converter control box as standard (optional: HFC1 or

addition, little maintenance is needed due to the smooth starting and

Non-contact roll-up technology

The sections are guided in a circular bracket for exceptionally
fast opening speeds and precise door travel. Thanks to
non-contact roll-up technology, there is no wear on the
door sections, which helps the door maintain its clean
appearance for a long time. In addition, the standard
frequency converter control takes stress off the entire door
mechanism, extending the service life of the door.

Highly insulated panel sections

The 1-5/8” thick door panel made of hot-dipped galvanized
steel, provides a durable and lasting surface. A urethane
core with an R-value of 13.6 and U-value < 0.5 (U-value of
core) provides optimal insulation, reduces loss of conditioned
air and contributes to energy savings. Synthetic panel
connectors, though independent of the panel strength, have
been quality tested and subjected to hundreds of thousands
of cycles and provide an extremely smooth and quiet door
operation.

Duratec® insulated windows

The Duratec ® insulated windows are coated with a special
finish which prevents marks and scratches caused by
cleaning, and retain clear view after many cleanings. The
synthetic double panes provide excellent thermal insulation
while being fully transparent. A complete vision (CV) panel is
available and designed for the pleasing aesthetic appeal some

The model HF-MP detects both motion and presence. The HF-MP covers a wide range of
applications where pedestrian and motorized traffic patterns co-exist. Recommended for
locations with a lot of pedestrian traffic, this device substantially increases safety around
the door opening because the door will not close as long as a person or object is present in
Radar / Motion Detector the door range.

Induction Loop Detector

• A loop wire field is installed below the floor’s Amber Warning Light
surface and generates a magnetic field sensitive to
metal objects. This highly visible warning light has a lightweight plastic housing and turns on three
seconds prior to closing until the door is closed. (pre-warning time is up to 60 seconds).
The amber warning light is specified when a heightened awareness of traffic patterns is
desired.

Remote Control
• Effective at a range of up to 60 feet.
• Transmitters are available to activate up to 27 doors
with one transmitter.

Beacon Light

The plastic housing contains a highly visible yellow beacon light which lights up and rotates
indicating that the door is opening or closing. The beacon light is specified when only a
Touchless Activation Switch visual reminder of door movement is required.
