WORKPLAN FOR THE SERIES OF WORKSHOPS IN THE PREPARATION/UPDATING OF
THE CCA-DRR MAINSTREAMED COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN (CDP) FY
2020-2025
WHEREAS, in compliance of Section 106 of RA 7160, otherwise known as the Local
Government Code of 1991 mandates Local Government Units (LGUs) to prepare a
comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan to be initiated by its local
development council and approved by its respective Sanggunian;
WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-172 reiterated this responsibility of
LGUs in preparing their respective CDPs and CLUPs cognizant of the need to determine
multi-sectoral and spatial strategies, trusts and priorities, to guide future
development, regulate land use, and boost LGU service delivery.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDWARD T. QUILALA, Municipal Mayor or Currimao, Ilocos Norte
by virtue of powers vested in my law, do hereby create the preparation/updating of
the CCA-DRR Mainstreamed Comprehensive Development plan (CDP) of Currimao,
Ilocos Norte and naming the members hereof as follows, to wit:

B. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES
MUNICIPAL PLANNING TEAM
The MPT shall be the over-all committee responsible for coordinating all technical and
administrative activities in the preparation of the CLUP, including stakeholder
consultations and meetings; it shall also facilitate the presentation of the draft CDP to
the LDC for endorsement to the SB.
PLANNING CORE GROUP (PCG)
The PCG will coordinate the planning activities, draft, consolidate the contents of the
CDP documents.
PLANNING SUPPORT GROUP (PSG)
The PSG shall provide basic information and appropriate administrative support to the
planning core group, their Department being the main source of data and information
and needed resources for profiling and target setting.
PLANNING TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP (PTWG)
The PTWG on the other hand will assist the Planning Core Group for their particular
sector in the following:
Conduct of sectoral/intersectoral analysis, validation and reports. Conduct of surveys,
consultations/meetings, workshops. Integration/ finalization of studies, research
findings, and consultation/ survey outputs.
C. RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
The MPT shall act as the main technical component of the Municipal Development
Council and shall work closely thru regular updates and reports with the MDC in
crafting the CDP.
D. SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS
The MPT may call upon the assistance of relevant units and/or LGU personnel, through
the respective department heads, in the implementation of various activities relative
to the formulation of the CDP.
Moreover, everyone is enjoined to participate in the various activities of the Municipal
Planning team when requested.
E. EFFECTIVITY
The MPT shall exercise their duties and functions effective immediately.
