Act 2

Chapter V
The Visitation of Bharata.

Narrator (N): During the time of the evilness of Manthara and

Kaikeyi, the banishment off Rama and the Death Of
Dasharatha, the second son Bharata was far off
Visiting his mother’s brother
Bharata (B): (Visiting Uncle)
How are you uncle! How is the aged life? Has time
been in your favor lately?
Uncle(U;) (runs towards the cottage with Rama)
AH I’ve been Fine! Now we need to discuss a few
things, come with me-
(interrupted by messenger)
Messenger(M) Master Bharata!
I bring news from the Kingdom Ayodhya!
(running then kneels)
B: Speak up! Speak up messenger!
M: (Kneeling)
Master! Queen Kaikeyi has asked King Dasharatha
to Banish Rama! And Rama agreed to be banished
for 14 years! Now that King Dasharatha has died,
you are now the king of Ayodhya!
B: What has mother done! This is not right!
I must go back to set things right!
(Scene in which Bharata runs back to Ayodhya)
(Runs in circles until scene changes to Queen Kaushalya and Queen
Kaikeyi)
Kaikeyi;(Ki) Ah! Son you have returned at last to fulfill your
duties!-
(Cut off by Bharata)
B; I have not come here to fulfill my brother’s duties!
I came here as soon As I have heard of the news of my
brother’s banishment!
Ki; Are you not happy about the news? Are you not happy
for what I have done-
(Cut off again by Bharata)
B; Of course I am not mother! It is not right for the
younger brother to rule! It is right for the eldest
to rule and the younger to follow. It is also not
right to banish someone for no actual cause! I shall
go to Rama at once and see this matter resolved!
(Walks away)(Kaikeyi is dumbfounded)
Kaushalya(Kh): (runs to Bharata stopping him)
Wait Bharata! I will come with you! I wish to see my
dearest Son Rama again! Please!
B: Very well, I can see that you really want to see my
brother again! Come with me! With you maybe I have
more chances of convincing Rama to come back!
(Bharata and Kaushalya walk around until props people insert the
cottage and the tree and remove the throne and Rama, Lakshmana and Sita
move in with cottage)
(Rama meditates outside and Sita and Lakshmana inside cottage)
Kh: RAMAA!! RAMA!! MY BELOVED SON!
(runs to Rama and hugs him, Rama still meditating
sitting)
R; Mother! I have missed you very well!
(Stands up)
Bharata! Bharata my brother!
B; Rama! (Handshake and manly hug)
I have not come only for a visit I want you to come
back in your rightful place in Ayodhya as our King!
(kneels and bows)
We implore you come back!
Kh; Please come back my loving son! Kaikeyi returns back
what she has said!
R; (Lets brother stand up)
Thank you brother, mother but I have a vow to fulfill
to my father. If a vow is not honored what kind of a
son am I? Here take my sandals as a remembrance of
me.
(steps back and leaves sandals behind, picks it up
and gives it to Bharata)
B; I shall put this on the throne, wear hermit’s
clothing, and eat only fruit and nut for as long as
you are wandering in the forest.
(Good bye brother actions and then leave scene)
N; And so the people went home to Ayodhya, content with
their new king.
Act 2

Chapter VI
The Abduction of Sita.

N; Rama, Lakshmana spent many years happily in the

forest where they did battles with demons or kept
company with hermits.
(In song and Dance scene with 3 kickass hermits and 2 demonic
handmaidens)
N; Then it so happened that they were seen by the
ugly demoness Surpanakha, who had an eye for
handsome men.
Shurpanakha(Sh); (Igatness sa tree)
Oh! I have set my eyes on the most glorious of men!
My heart beats for only him! I must have him!
(Dances seductively)
(in comes two demonic sluts)
R; You are indeed.....unique. But I already have a
wife. Perhaps you are interested in my brother
Lakshmana?
(Points to Lakshmana)
(Dances towards Lakshmana aggressively seductive)
L; Who wouldn’t fall in love with a ... creature like
you?
Rama would surely look through those...
characteristics.
(Points to Rama)
(Dances to Rama seductively aggressive)
(Rama points back to Lakshmana and Lakshamana points back in return)
(Shurpanakha stuck in the middle confused)
Sh; Oh my love! Why do you tease me so? Don’t You know
that, that woman is not good enough for you?!
R; Then, pray tell, Who is?
Sh; I am, I could please a man such as you
R; (giggles with Lakshmana)
Sh; THAT WOMAN IS THE CAUSE OF ALL OF THIS MISFORTUNE!
I MUST KILL HER!
(dances ragingly towards Sita, got caught and nose lobbed off)
(Enraged screaming, runs all around area till the scene has been set)
(Throne set in, Demon maiden fans Ravana, cottage and tree are out)
Sh; BROTHER!!! BROOTTHHEERR!! I HAVE BEEN HUMILIATED!!
Ravana;(Rv) (Shocked)
What has happened and who has done this to you!
Sh; (Lying)
Umm.. I tried to… get this beautiful woman Sita for
you..as a present,, But she already has a husband
Rama. A mortal named Rama has done this, He Has
insulted me.
Rv; This man will Pay for what she has done to you dear
sister!
Sh; Do not hurt HIM! Take only Sita, she is what you
want!
Rv; (Stands from throne)
Of course! Maricha come to me, I have plans…
N; Maricha took the form of a little dear, wonderful
sight to behold. Its hide was of gold dappled with
silver, its horns were tipped with jewels that
caught the sunlight, and its delicate legs ended in
emerald hooves.
(Ravana and throne out, Cottage and trees and flowers in by props
people)(Maricha Dances)
Sita;(S) Oh Rama my love! Oh Lakshmana! Come look at this!
I have set my heart on it, please Rama give it to
me.
R; It is indeed beautiful! But why do you want it?
S; When we return to Ayodhya, I want to give it as a
gift to my mothers; it will be a palace pet. If you
cannot catch it, bring me its hide and I will use
it to cover your throne oh lion among men!
L; That deer is too unworldly to be true. It has to be
a demon who has taken a deer’s shape! Do not go
after it my brother! It may be dangerous.
R; Sita rarely requests gifts from me; I will have to
get it for her this time. If it is a demon as you
have said, I shall destroy it.

(Walks away but stops and turns to Lakshmana)

R; Stay here and Guard Sita well until I return, do
not leave her for a moment. That is my order.
L; ....okay.
(Insert Maricha and Rama Dance, evades sword first, then eventually
uses an arrow to kill her)
R; Lakshmana was Right! This deer is a demon!
Maricha(Mr); *Grabs throat of Rama*
*uses Rama’s Voice*
Lakshmana! Sita! I need your help!
(Rama drained of energy walks to exit, Maricha Limps to exit then DIES)
N; And this voice reverberated throughout the forest
until it reached the hut of Sita and Lakshmana.
S; That voice is of Rama’s! Lakshmana he might need
help, go save him!
L; Sita, calm down, nothing in the three worlds can
make Rama cry out for help!
S; Then something must have made that noise! Who could
it be other than Rama?
L; That cry is a trick! Demons can imitate voices of
those they have caught and often do so to carry out
their plans!
S; Rama is in trouble and yet you do not go to him?
L; I dare not leave you alone, this is after all
Rama’s orders.
S; (tauntingly annoyed)Rama’s orders! Rama’s orders!

Do you care nothing for your brother? I have seen

your plans! You wish to marry me when Rama is dead!
L; Don’t you dare use those words on me! Your words
pierce my heart, oh daughter of Janaka. Remember
the day you have scorned me Sita, when all I wanted
was do my orders! I will go, but may you repent
this day.
(Draws circle round the hut while chanting and dancing)
L; Stay within this circle Sita, do not go beyond it
and you will be safe! (leaves to exit)
(Ravana’s Chariot is pulled all around the glade and stoops at the
corner. Goes down the chariot and wears a really large hoodie and uses
a walking stick)
(Dances slightly towards hut but cannot enter due to circle)
Rv: (Old hermit Voice)
Why hello there beautiful one, why are you here in
a terrible forest? You should live in a grand
palace!
S; Why Hello there Brahman, You seem Tired, Come in.
Rv; I cannot go further; The circle sops me from doing
so. I am also weak and starving. (sinks to the
ground)
S; I am sorry Brahman, I will come back bringing
refreshments and food.
(Gets food and water, hesitates in going outside
but goes outside anyway and serves food)
N; While waiting for Rama, Sita had told the Brahman
the story of Rama, Sit and Lakshmana.
S; Wait here Brahman, my dearest shall come back with
food and venison. Now tell me your name and how you
came here.
Rv; I am Ravana, king of the demons, before whom men
and gods tremble. Beyond the sea, on the summit of
a mountain lies my splendid City, Lanka. I have
come to you for I am in love, yield to me and
forget Rama!
S; (Shocked, but angry and afraid)
I belong to the great Rama and shall forever be
faithful to my husband. Oh wretch, you can never
win my heart! You are nothing compared to him.

If you should carry me away, you have brought Death

upon yourself!
Rv; Have you taken leave of your Senses? Have you not
heard of my greatness? I am so great that the gods
are afraid of me! I have many Great powers, and
behold how I change my form As I will!

{Transforms}
Rv; If you wish a master famed all throughout, yield to
me! That Rama was Banished from his own kingdom and
now, he is nothing. I will Never displease you.
(Seizes Rama and runs towards Chariot. Chariot is pulled by Justin)
S; Rama my dear, help me! Lakshmana, I have done
wrong, help me! Hear my pleas oh forest, bring my
message to them! (drops jewels monkey come to get
them quickly then exit)
N; While this was all happening, there was a vulture
named Jatayu, who was observing the skies when it
found the abducted maiden.
Jatayu;(J) *Vulture noises* That woman needs help! I am
coming!
(Chariot stops mid stage
vulture fight dance, Jatayu is injured and falls out of the stage)
(Chariot Continues until it stops at the back of stage.)
(props people insert throne and demonic maidens appear)
(Walks out of chariot, demonic maidens bow)
Rv; Let no one Speak harshly of this princess! Let her
have all the leisure she desires!
(demon women escort her to the front of the stage,

N; He left her there a while to rest, but soon came

back for he was sorely in love with her and desired
to win her. He found her overcome by grief, sitting
with a bowed head among demon women, like a doe
separated from its herd and beset by hounds.

He made her go through his palace that was worthy

of the gods; through splendid courtrooms, through
flowering courtyards, up golden stair cases, and
along hallways with crystal pillars. She saw
nothing, for her head was bowed, her eyes downcast
and her heart was filled with despair.

(Ravana walks around with Sita (Her head bowed

down) with demon women following her. Then stops at
the center of the stage, Demonic women will be
fanning)

Rv; I have an army of over thousands of loyal demonic

followers. My kingdom is surrounded by the ocean
and can never be captured. If you marry me, you can
have all of it as slave, even me.

What would you hope from Rama, who has nothing to

give and nothing to return to you?
S; He is my lord and my life, Rama will rob you of
your life. You are like a sacrificial beast, bound
to be slain! You cannot be killed by god or demon,
but you will die now that you have brought the
wrath of Rama upon yourself!

Bind or destroy this body of mine; I do not care

for my life, but I will never yield to you.
Rv; Think well, princess. If you do not yield to me my
butches will butcher you and my cooks shall cook
you for my morning meal!
N; For even among the demons, if a woman was taken
unwillingly from her home, she was given one year
to accustom herself to the new surroundings.
Rv; Slaves!(Maidens come)
Take this woman to the ashoka grove and guard her
well.
Try to break her will through threats or through
soft spoken words, like a female elephant!
N; The women took her and pulled her through the
palace grove of the ashoka trees, where the ladies
of the court live in leisure. There she gave way to
despair and fell fainting to the ground.

Act 2

Chapter VII
The Search for Sita

Narrator (N): Rama ran back to the Hermitage, his heart

filled with dread. Before he reached it, he saw
Lakshmana coming towards him with a pale and
troubled face, and his own fear increased.
Rama (R): (scared, panting from running, meets
Lakshmana)
Lakshmana! Why have you left Sita alone? Even
though you know demons are roaming through
these woods! My heart is heavy with fear that
we shall not find her or that she is dead or
lost!
(slightly angry and running)
Why have you left her!
Lakshmana(L;) (runs towards the cottage with Rama)
It was not I who wanted to come!
It was Sita who drove me to go! When she heard
your voice cry out she forced me to go, but I
told her that no one could ever make you cry
out and that voice must be a demon’s, and she
taunted me saying that I desired your death in
order to marry her!

That made me mad brother, and drove me here to

prove her wrong!
R: You knew that I could defend myself brother and
yet you abandon Sita for a Hasty word! I
tremble to think of what awaits us!
N: When they reached the hermitage they found it
empty, the flowers withered, the mats and
deerskins scattered here and there; and Sita,
who was the heart of it, beautiful, gay, and
tender, was gone.
R. My brother, let us not waste precious time.
Search the glades and the woods and the peaks
of the mountain. We will not stop nor is rest
till Sita, my beloved is, found.
N. Their search for Sita came on and on for days.
Clues and hints came but were never sufficient.
As one injured vulture named Jatayu, told them
that a demon with a woman headed south.

Hints becoming scarce and efforts seemed

hopeless until one morning they came across a
demon; this demon, though, was unlike any
other.(H)
(Rama and Lakshmana make searching actions
until demon appears)
(BATTLE SCENE WITH A CANNIBAL DEMON)
(cue war music with sound effex for awesomeness)
(Rama cuts off Limbs)
Kabandha(demon) (upon slaying)
(Kb); You have freed me from my curse.
(transforms into a Human Musician)
I am Kabandha, once a musician cursed by Ravana to
be a demon!
And now that you have done good to me, I too shall
do good to you! What seems to be troubling you?
R. I am looking for a beautiful woman named Sita, who has
been taken from me. Have you by chance seen her?
Kb. I have seen demons, yes, but beautiful women? I am
sorry I have not. But do not fear, tigers among men, I
know of someone who might help you!
L: You have?! Speak up your mind so that we may carry on
to our destination!
Kb: There is a monkey named Sugriva who is wise and knows
the land very well. He and a few others were banished
by Bali, his own brother so that Bali could be king.
R. or L.: Yes? And so what shall I do with this information at
hand?
Kb. : They live in a mountain near Lake Pampa. I will guide
you to them. Make an alliance with them and His
followers will search for Sita everywhere.

N: And so they went on a journey, this time no longer

aimlessly, as they now have a guide to where they were
(Kabandha leads them to a wonderful place and then
exits)
(hanuman and his monkey bands enter, go to mountain
top center stage (lake front of mountain))
(Rama and Lakshmana searching, Hanuman and Sugriva at
the mountains looking down )
N: They came to stop at place where water was calm and
beautiful, bordered by trees and lofty Hills. Birds
and fishes swam upon the waters and deer and elephants
came to drink.
Sugriva(S): *monkey noises**points to Rama* Assassins! Bali Has
sent warriors to kill me! WE must retreat to higher
ground!
Cue hot Indian music
Hanuman and monkey bitches dance till they are all on top
(insert ninja like moves here)

Hanuman(H): I see no cause for fear O great one! The monkey has
overcome the god in you! You must not fear.
S: Who would not be afraid of two warriors? Go down to
them, find out their cause here and study them very
carefully.
H; Yes of course my master!
(jumps down fabulously)
Greetings Brave strangers! Why have you come here
lions clad in deerskin?
R: How Wonderfully He Speaks! We can trust him
Lakshmana, answer his questions freely.
H; (look pleased)
These heroes I will restore Sugriva to its rightful
place.
(Grab Rama and Lakshmana then jumps to the mountain
towards Sugriva)
H; Sugriva! These men offer nothing but friendship!
Receive them with honor
(Monkeys bow)
S; It is great fortune for me to receive you as my
friend! Here take my hand and let us bind ourselves
with a vow!
(Cue tribal ritual music)
(Initiate ninja monkey dance ritual)
N: (After R, L, H, and S sat down a branch)
Sugriva told Rama and Lakshmana of how his
brother, Bali had taken the throne and how
he is now living in terror over Bali.
(acts as if they are telling a tale)

R: What good is friendship without helping each

other?
I shall Slay Bali With these arrows that
never miss and you shall regain your kingdom
and your wife! I always keep my words and
what I say shall come to pass!
(Monkeys make cheering monkey noises)
S; You too shall regain your beloved princess!
And I too always keep my words and what I
say shall come to pass!
(Monkeys cheer like bitches)

I shall tell you what I know, days earlier,

I saw a dark chariot in the sky with a woman
and demonic man. The woman cried out help.
She saw us and threw her jewels to us. I
will get the jewels and if you recognize
them, the woman is indeed Sita.
R; Go quickly and bring them my great friend!
(Sugriva goes to a cave)
N; Sugriva went to a deep cave and brought out
jewels to show Rama.
(Sugriva comes out with jewelry)
R; Those are indeed the jewels of Sita! Those
necklaces and those earrings are surely
hers!
And that anklet is agreeably Sita’s, right
Lakshmana?
L; The anklet is indeed hers, I often see it as
I greet her. The others, I have never seen
as I have never looked above her feet.
(scene shifts to give way for chapter 8)

Act 2

Chapter VIII
The Monkey’s Search

N; Now that Rama and Lakshmana had met with the

monkey band of Sugriva, they began to play out the
roles destined for them. After showing Sugriva his
skills with the bow and the arrow, Rama and his
companions immediately set out for Kishkindha,
Bali’s City; and fought Bali and his army.
(Throne room set-up)
(Sugriva's monkey band reused as people)
Sg; BALI! IF YOU ARE NOT SCARED! COME OUT AND ACCEPT
MY CHALLENGE FOR THE THRONE!
(Monkey Dance of War, Stopped by 2 guards at the throne)
Bali; (Bl) MY INSOLENT BROTHER DARES TO CHALLENGE ME?!
I SHALL GO AND END HIS FOOLISHNESS AND TEACH HIM A
LESSON!
(goes down throne)
Tara; (T) (kneels in front of throne to stop)
My, lord Do not Go, He has an archer that never
misses!
If you go, mark my word, You are doomed. Reconsider
and make peace with them!
Bl; Me? Make peace with them and then make me look like
a coward?! And do you think He will accept
friendship after all that I have done?!
T; My lord please reconsider!
(Bali Kicks Tara away)
(Angrily walks to ward guards)
Bl; Come here wretch! I accept your battle for the
throne!
Sg; Very well! But know to accept defeat!
(Epic dance scene between Bali and his guards and Sugriva and his
companions Rama and Lakshmana)
(Dance ends with Rama shooting Bali)
Sg; I am truly sorry brother, it did not have to be this
way..
Bl; I too am sorry… (dies)
Monkeys;(Mnkys) THE REIGN OF BALI HAS ENDED! SUGRIVA IS NOW ARE NEW
KING! ALL HAIL SUGRIVA!! ALL HAIL SUGRIVA!!
(Dance of monkey happiness)
N; Sugriva’s band was victorious at retaking the
throne. But the rainy days came and the Search for
Sita was postponed. He forgot his promise and soon
basked in the luxury and wealth. Until four months
later.
L; THE RAINS ARE OVER AND YET YOU BASK YOURSELF IN
LUXURY! WHERE IS THE VOW THAT YOU HAVE MADE SUGRIVA!
(Walks in throne Angrily)
Sg; (Sits Lazily)
Vow? What vow? Can’t the vow wait much longer?
L; Your laziness irritates me, If you do not do your
word, I shall Destroy This kingdom!
T; (Runs to Lakshmana)
Majestic Lion! Please do not, when my king is sober,
I shall tell him to complete the words of his
tongue.
L; Very well!
(Runs to Sugriva’s Throne and whispers threats in his ears)
(Sugriva looks alarmed and Stands up Hastily)
Sg; WHAT?! CALL THE GUARDS! I shall send out search
parties. Whomsoever does not come back, shall be
punished.
(Two monkey’s Go to him)
Sg; Search in the north for Sita! Go forth until the
boundaries!
(Two monkeys exit)
(another two monkeys enter)
Sg; Search in the east for Rama’s wife! Extend your
search until the boundaries!
(Two monkeys exit)
(another two monkeys enter)

Sg; Search in the west for the Princess Sita!

You shall only stop in the boundaries!
(Two monkeys exit)
(another two monkeys enter with Hanuman and Angada)
Sg; Search to the south! I have complete trust in you
Hanuman, Angada my son is quite immature and needs
guidance.
H; But of course Sire.
R; My friend Hanuman, I shall give you this ring, show
this to Sita and he shall believe whatever you shall
say.
H; Yes, of course.
R. and Sg.; GO AND MAKE HASTE!!
N; Days, weeks and months have passed, The search
parties of the north, east, and west came back, but
to avail. The search party for the south searched
every cave, mountain and tree and only stopped till
they came cross the mighty and vast ocean.
(Throne room Is removed, ocean (Blue cloth) Inserted)
H; (Sits down by the shore with friends)
So this is it my friends, we have failed…
Let us not come home to our deaths…
Sampati (Flies Around)
(Vulture); (Sm) Oh goody! When these monkeys die, I shall have more
for my dinner and snacks!
H; Is it not Ironic that a dying vulture, Jatayu,
helped us and told us that they headed south? And
yet another vulture comes by merrily and treats us
like dinner!
Sm; Jatayu? Have I heard my brother’s name? What has
happened to him!
H; (Stands up with Hope)
Yes you have heard right… But Sadly Jatayu was
killed, injured by Ravana, the demon king.
Sm; Ravana? That king that lives on that island kingdom
of His? What has he done?!
H; You know where he is? Tell me and I shall avenge
your brother!
Sm; Beyond the sea, lies a great island, a golden
kingdom lies there. Ravana, whom I just saw months
ago with a beautiful girl, lives there.

But how shall you go there without any wings?!

H; I have my ways! I am the son of Vayu, the wind god
after all. I can leap my way there!
Act 2

Chapter IX
Hanuman Leaps to Sri Lanka

N; And so Hanuman searched for the highest peak and his

band followed him. At the peak he increased his size
and paid homage to the gods. As he crouched, his
weight made the mountain tremble and he leaped.
Speeding over the Ocean with the help of the elements
who were in his favor.
(Scene Shifts)
(Hanuman is Carried by Vayu over the ocean)
(Nymphs dance and sing to him)
N: And he saw Ravana’s Kingdom of Lanka. It was surely
Ravana’s as it was surrounded by demons. It had many
rooms and endless hallways. He saw a thousand gardens
filled with every exotic species of flora and fauna.
He became brave and stopped at the heart of the
palace which where lighted by lamps upheld by the
branches of golden trees or hanging by jeweled chains
from the galleries.
H: Is this paradise, or the city of Indra, the lord of
heaven? Sita could never be here. Apart from Rama,
she could not feast or adorn herself, nor would she
ever yield to another lover.
N: Hanuman left the banqueting hall and explored every
room in the palace, going up and down, to and fro,
opening some doors and closing others. till there was
not the space of four fingers that he had left
unseen. He was in despair, fearing that Sita must be
dead and that Rama would also die if he brought no
news of her. Then he came out from the palace into a
beautiful grove of ashoka trees, and hope sprang up
in his heart again.
H: Here, surely, I shall find her. She loved the forest,
and she will have come here because it reminds her of
her happy years with Rama.
N: Hanuman leaped into the branches and looked about
him. All at once he saw a woman sitting under a
neighboring tree, awake and weeping. Her yellow robe
was faded and dusty, her thick hair was bound in one
long braid down her back; she wore no jewels and was
thin and weary. Around her, demon women lay asleep,
and as she looked about her with eyes wide with fear,
she was like a gazelle surrounded by a pack of
hounds.
(climbs and stops on top of a tree)
H; Is this woman Sita?! She truly is as beautiful as the
dawn!
(Ravana walks in with demons chanting)
Rv; Sita, Have you chosen to yield to me? Your Rama had
not come for months now!
H: What splendor, what power, what majesty! If he were
not evil, he could protect the three worlds and the
gods themselves. Yet instead he is feared by all
creatures.
(Caresses Sita, Sita pushes Ravana Away)
Rv: What can you hope from Rama? Even if he and his
brother, on foot and with no army, could come here,
what could they do against me?
S: I have heard these empty words many times before…
S: (Hopeless and Desperate)
Can you not enjoy your own wives? Why do you desire
the wife of another? I will never desert Rama. Send
me back and Spare yourself from my lord’s wrath…
R: (furious and hissing)
You are only alive because I truly love you. For each
cruel word of yours, you deserve death! I shall give
you two more months, or else, you shall be my next
meal!
(Walks away Angrily)
H: How can I show myself to her without frightening her?
No matter what shape I take she will think me just
another demon. I will speak to her of Rama; that will
make her trust me.
(Goes to a tree near Sita)
H: (Whispers)
I am Sugriva's minister, the monkey Hanuman. I come
to you as Rama's messenger and I tell you that Rama
and Lakshmana is well. Trust my words!
S: (Searches till sees monkey)Is this real or just an
illusion? It seems too clear to be a mirage.

Welcome, O gentle monkey, and tell me all about Rama,

Tell me more about my dear Rama and Lakshmana! Are
they well? Are they well?!, Then why are they not
Scouring the earth searching for ME?!
H: Calm down dear princess, they do not know where you
are. He has searched and sorrowed for you ever since
you have been taken away! Stay strong and know that
he thinks of nothing else but you. I present you this
