Easy Scalloped Skirt

(1) This easy scalloped skirt is made using a simple shell stitch pattern that creates a flattering A-line shape without any increasing. (2) The skirt gets its shape by changing hook sizes - starting with a larger hook at the waist and gradually switching to smaller hooks further down. (3) The shell pattern is worked in rounds by making groups of (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) that are stacked on top of each other and connected using ch 3 spaces.

easy scalloped skirt

Even a new crocheter can make this gorgeous

skirt! It’s unbelievably easy, thanks to a
simple stitch repeat. Better yet, there’s no
increasing—the skirt gets its flattering A-line
shape by changing hook sizes as you work.
