Strength of Materials II Overview

The document outlines the topics to be covered in the Strength of Materials-II course for the fourth semester of the B. Tech Aeronautical Engineering program. The four units cover strain energy and impact loading, theories of elastic failure, unsymmetrical bending, thick cylinders and spheres, rotating rims and discs, and bending of curved bars. Numerical problems are included for each topic. Recommended textbooks and references for the course are also provided.
