Denso Tape Technical Data Sheet

The document summarizes the properties and uses of Denso tape, a cold-applied corrosion protection tape. It is a non-hardening, non-cracking tape made of non-woven synthetic fibers coated with petroleum hydrocarbons and siliceous fillers. It is highly resistant to chemicals and impermeable to water and gases. Denso tape is used to protect buried or exposed pipes and fittings from corrosion and has a minimum breaking strength of 200 N/50mm and works in temperatures from -5°C to 55°C.

non-hardening and non-cracking. It is highly resistant to mineral acids, alkalis,
salts and micro-organisms and highly impermeable to water, water vapour and
gases. Used for the protection of buried or exposed pipes, rods, cables,
valves and metal fittings from corrosion.

COMPOSITION Non-woven synthetic fibre fabric impregnated and coated with a neutral
compound based on saturated petroleum hydrocarbons (Petrolatum) and inert
siliceous fillers. It is supplied in rolls in a range of widths.
