My Best Experience: Trip to England

  • Personal Reflection on International Experience

One of the best experiences of my life was the trip I made to England when I was in third grade of

Junior High. This trip was organized by the school in order to go to certify us in the Trinity College
exam.

We went through an international program called World English Experience (WEE). Our stay was in
Sparsholt College, Hampshire near Winchester. Personally the latter place was one of my favorites;
there are beautiful landscapes to appreciate and is full of quaint cafes and flowers.

WEE program consists of three weeks, during which the first two weeks we had different kinds of
preparation for the certification we were going to take. We not only took English classes but also
participated in various artistic and cultural competitions; it was not all study, we also had the
opportunity to know many places in England including London, Oxford, Stonehenge and also went
shopping, to the theater, museums, London Eye, etc. We did many activities that left me many
lessons and good memories.

Once we made the certification at the end of the second week we had a full week of fun in France
where we met the most famous spots. Some places were: Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower,
Eurodisney, Palace of Versailles and we also did a lot shopping and took tons of photos

One of the things I liked the most about this trip was that I made it with my best friends, I almost
known them all since first grade of elementary so it was like to fulfill one of our dreams together. I
can´t imagine this trip without them, even the long hours of the flight passed quickly because my
time was full of their smiles and laughs.

I consider this one of the best experiences of my life because this truly opened my panoramas to
the rest of the real world.
