VERB TO BE was-were
We use the verb to be in past simple(was-were) in order to talk about past activities(estaba-era) according to the pronoun.
Today, you´ll learn how to use this verb.
• Interrogative (?)
Was I In Paris Yes, she was
He/she /it yesterday?
No, she wasn´t
Were We In London
You last year? Yes, we were
They No, we weren´t
Examples:
• I was in the park
• They were at the bank
• We were children when we were five years ago
• My dad was in the beach.
