Nationality

Candidate must be either a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan


Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 or an Indian origin
who is migrated to other countries.
Educational Qualification

 For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)/ Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)/


Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)/ Officer Scale-III (Senior
Manager): Contenders must have finished a Bachelor’s degree in any
discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of
50% marks in aggregate to apply for the posts.
 Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager): Job hunters who have
completed a Bachelor’s Degree from an Indian Govt recognized university in
Computer Science/ Communication/ Electronics/ IT/ or its equivalent can
submit the applications.
 Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee, and Clerk: To apply for the IBPS
Recruitment 2020, you should have passed a degree (graduation) in any
discipline from a university recognised by the Indian Govt or any equivalent
qualification.

Age Limit

 For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager): 21 Years and 40 Years


 For Officer Scale-II (Manager): 21 Years and 32 years
 For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager): 18 Years and 30 Years
 For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18 Years and 28 Years
 For Clerk: 20 Years and 28 Years
 For PO/MT: 20 Years and 30 Years

The age relaxation on the maximum age limit for the reserved category
individuals is applicable up to:

 Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe: 5 Years


 Other Backward Classes: 3 Years
 Persons With Benchmark Disability: 10 Years
 Widows, Divorced women and women legally separated from
 their husbands who have not remarried: 9 Years
 Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 Years
 Persons ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir: 5 Years
